CSOD recently implemented changes to the self-registration process. Previously, users were able to access their LMS accounts immediately after registering. With the new update, users must now complete an email verification step. After registering, they receive an email containing a link to confirm their account. Until the user completes this verification, their account remains in a Pending Approval status.
In situations where a user does not receive the confirmation email after registering for a CBPL account and their account has a "Pending Approval" status, we are to:
1. Check the Cornerstone Best Practices Library - List of Competitor Accounts spreadsheet and verify if the user's email domain matches any of the domains listed in the document.
a.) If there is no match, proceed with approving the user's account.
b.) If there is a match, escalate to the CBPL Administrator for further processing.
Context: eSkillz has competitors who may try to gain access to the CBPL. It is important we flag these accounts and escalate it to the CBPL Administrator.
