A user may pause a video however if the user closes it whenever they relaunch it will start from the beginning. 

The user may slide the progress bar to the point where they left off from then click play to proceed with the video.

Yes, you may pause the video, however if you close the video screen the progress will not be saved.

If you need to close out the video whenever you relaunch it, you may slide the progress bar to the point where you left off from then click play to proceed.
